Combined Fall/Winter season. One registration, learn to skate until March!

For insurance reasons, all CanSkaters MUST wear a CSA-approved hockey helmet through Stage 5. No other type of helmet may be used.

PreCanSkate ($480 for 25 30-minute lessons; Saturday or Sunday)
For those who have never been on skates before. We’ll get your skaters on their feet and on their way to mastering forward and backward skating. Recommended for younger skaters (4-6 years old). Adults and older teens brand new to skating will prefer our Adult CanSkate program.
CanSkate ($660 for 25 45-minute lessons; Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday)
Taught in small groups by NCCP CanSkate coaches (10:1 ratio). Skaters move at their own pace through levels of advancing difficulty, from the basics of skating forward and backward to crossovers, advanced turns, and even basic jumps and spins. We build confidence, skill and agility.
Adult CanSkate ($690 for 25 45-minute lessons; Tuesday night or Saturday)
Our flagship CanSkate program, adapted for adults and older teens: with fewer skaters on the ice and more time to work independently and to socialize. Learn for yourself, or to keep up with your kids.

Registration for PowerSkate opens August 22 at 6PM.
Taught by NCCP PowerSkate coaches, PowerSkate will help your hockey player improve their agility, control and power in game situations.
$290 for eight 50-minute lessons (runs 4 times a season); Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday
Instalment plans available!
All PowerSkaters must wear full hockey gear including a neck guard and a CSA-approved hockey helmet! Bring a stick.
Levels
PrePower
Skaters MUST be able to get up, stand, and move on their own. If brand new to skates, start in PreCanSkate or CanSkate!
Skills taught: stride, turns, and balance.
Level 1
Skaters MUST have some stride and good balance. U9/U11 typical.
Skills taught: stride power, backward skating, stops and turns.
Level 2
Skaters MUST be able to stop both ways, skate backward with power, and turn on edges. U11/U13 typical.
Skills taught: forward and backward crossovers, turns, and edges.
Level 3
Skaters MUST be able to do crossovers both forward and backward, and have good edge work. U13/U15 typical.
Skills taught: crossover starts, pivots, and turns (forward-to-backward and backward-to-forward).
Level 4
Skaters MUST have all Level 3 skills.
Skills taught: Level 3 skills with puck control.

Registration for IntroStar and Junior Star opens August 23 at 11AM.
At this level, we recommend skating at least twice a week to improve progression. We offer combo discounts and instalment plans to help!
IntroStar ($735 for 29 60-minute lessons; +$399 for each additional day; Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday)
For skaters working on CanSkate Stage 5 up to STAR 2, IntroStar gives you or your child full-time coaching in the fundamentals of figure skating, in groups of 6 or less, with experienced coaches, at an all-inclusive price similar to CanSkate. IntroStar is the best deal going!
IntroStar Off-Ice ($200; 58 lessons; Wednesday & Saturday)
Scheduled adjacent to Wednesday and Saturday IntroStar sessions, learn how to develop and maintain strength, flexibility, and technique for skating with our twice-a-week off-ice program for IntroStar skaters.
Adult IntroStar ($799; 29 lessons; Saturday; +$399 for additional registrations in regular IntroStar)
Our IntroStar program scaled for adult bodies (fewer skaters on the ice). If you wish to skate more than once a week, you may join other IntroStar sessions at $399.
Junior Star ($420 or less for 29 week season; combo pricing available; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
Junior Star is for figure skaters who have passed at least one STAR 1 test (via IntroStar) and are working on STAR levels 1-3 of Freeskate, Skills, and/or Dance with a private coach.
Skaters at this level are working on improving simple 1-foot turns, spins, single jumps, and introductory dances. They may also be introduced to a choreographed solo to be skated at exhibitions and/or competitions.
We encourage all Junior Star Skaters to skate at least twice a week in order to maximize progress. Junior Star Skaters may also wish to continue with IntroStar, which can help reduce overall coaching costs. IntroStar registrations count toward Star combo discounts.
Note: all skaters in Junior Star require a private coach. If you don’t yet have one, IntroStar includes coaching in the fee, with a range of coaches, giving you the opportunity to find one that fits! Alternatively, contact our Skating Director to discuss your needs.
Junior Off-Ice ($420 or less for 29 weeks, up to 4 times a week; combo pricing available; Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Adjacent to Junior Star sessions, attend any or all. Off-Ice jump training with Yuriy on Sunday. Strength and flexibility training with Viktoriya Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Registration for Intermediate Star opens August 23 at 10AM.
At this level, we recommend skating at least 3 times per week to improve progression. We offer combo discounts and instalment plans to help!
Intermediate Star ($420 or less for 29 week season; combo pricing available; Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
Intermediate Star Skaters have fully completed STAR 4 Freeskate, OR, STAR 5 Skills and Dance. At this level, skaters are working on complex 1-foot turns, axels, double jumps, complex spins, intermediate ice dances, and almost certainly a choreographed program.
Skaters at this level are strongly encouraged to skate at least 3 times a week.
Intermediate Off-Ice ($420 or less for 29 weeks, up to 4 times a week: combo pricing available; Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday)
Adjacent to Intermediate Star sessions, attend any or all. Off-Ice jump training with Yuriy on Sunday. Strength and flexibility training with Viktoriya Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday.
Podium Pathway ($420 or less for 29 sessions; combo pricing available; Friday AM)
Podium Pathway skaters are training for higher skilled competitive opportunities. These skaters start at pre-juvenile level, working on mastering their axel and double jumps, complex spins, and 1-foot turn sequences. These skaters are aspiring to compete at the national and international levels.

At this level, we recommend skating at least 3 times per week to improve progression. We offer combo discounts and instalment plans to help!
Senior Star ($420 or less for 29 sessions; combo pricing available; Monday to Saturday)
Senior Star Skaters have fully completed STAR 7 Freeskate, OR, STAR 9 Skills and Dance. At this level, skaters are working on mastering figure skating, with difficult elements in complex sequences, double and triple jumps.
Skaters at this level are encouraged to skate at least 3 times a week.
Note: For safety reasons, Senior Star sessions are not appropriate for ice dance. For ice dance, read on:
Senior Dance/Skills ($420 or less for 29 sessions; combo pricing available; Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
For senior skaters working on dances, either solo or in a team. Also available for senior skaters working on high-level skills.
Senior Off-Ice ($420 or less for 29 weeks, up to 5 times a week: combo pricing available; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and twice on Saturday)
Adjacent to Senior Star sessions, attend any or all. Off-Ice jump training with Yuriy Wednesday and Saturday. Strength and flexibility training with Viktoriya Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday.
Podium Pathway ($420 or less for 29 sessions; combo pricing available; Friday AM)
Podium Pathway skaters are training for higher skilled competitive opportunities. Skaters should be entering the pre-novice level or higher, working in mastering all double jumps, developing triple jumps, complex spins, and mastering 1-foot turns. These skaters are training to compete at the national level, and aspiring to the international level.

An unstructured skating environment for Star-level adult and older teen skaters. Skaters must have fully passed CanSkate to be eligible for this session. Private coaching allowed but not required. Lower registration limits.

STAR 4 Synchro ($TBA for 26 week season; Sunday)
STAR 4 Synchro is a team sport for youth skaters who wish to skate with friends and teammates. Mandatory requirement: passed STAR 1 skills.
Adult 1 Synchro ($TBA for 26 week season; Sunday)
Synchro for adult skaters who have maintained a high level of skating skill and want a challenge. Includes 2 hours of on-ice and 1 hour of off-ice practice each week.
Adult 2 Synchro ($TBA for 26 week season; Thursday AM)
Synchro for adult skaters who have maintained a moderate level of skating skill and want a fun group activity. Includes 1 hour of on-ice and 1 hour of off-ice practice each week.
